So today we have got back from our holidays, more about that later, and moved ourselves into our new teeny tiny home from home. Which I’m sure will all sort out but is a bit small. Especially when two small girls decide to celebrate getting home by getting every single toy out.
Which would probably have been ok except that Mr was trying to use the same space to demolish a shower so we could put the washing machine in so he could have clean pants for tomorrow. Um fortunately I put a wash on before we left our holidays because despite crowbars, saws and swearing that shower base remains…
We will acclimatise. I reckon in a few months (please no more than 4) we will miss putting on wellies to go from living area to bedrooms, to carrying torches to put the children to bed, to living in a bedsit. Part of me hopes that this will enable us to declutter and downsize a bit. And to get back into wearing thick jumpers rather than having heating because we don’t have much heating until Mr and I work out how to install a wood burner out here.
But hey, how bad can life be if despite wearing two jumpers I can be sat here watching iplayer whilst blogging? Perhaps all life needs is a laptop?
p.s. yes looking at the photos yes that is our tonic store on top of the fridge – the gin is down the side, we’ve prioritised where we’ve stored stuff!
