>We love pancakes !

Last month we had a whole lot of pancake fun thanks to Tate & Lyle and Fleishman Hillard.

Shrove Tuesday is coming up (yes Mr Muddling, it isn’t today, what with it not being a Tuesday…) and its time to eat pancakes!

First of all make your batter

And then have a go at cooking them

And then get into the flipping grove !

Just a couple of things, if you’re making the pancakes then you generally don’t get to eat them… Think it may be time to persuade Mr Muddling that cooking pancakes is a manly job! And don’t try and vlog during witching hour unless you know how to remove the sound of a cross baby from your vlog.

If you want to join in and try for yourselves, there is a great step by step guide.

Extra thanks to Fleishman Hillard for the loan of a Flip video camera to do this with.

    >Absolutely FLIPTASTIC Mrs! Love it! Well done you and B! I'm so pleased that you had such a fun family event and loved hearing Wee One in the background.
Love your kitchen table…very very cool!

    >I am very strict with my pancake serving after years of not joining in–and I must admit that as I make the American kind it is much easier to stack them up on a warm plate in the oven then serve with a flourish all at once, so that I can sit and join as well!

    >I love how B says "We did it!" – she is too cute! 🙂

That’s brilliant, thank you for sharing. I confess I watched the vids anyway, even though we thankfully don’t need dairy-free anymore, because I’m nosy like that! Heart warming x

I can’t believe how different things are from a year ago (nor that I’ve finally managed to get a pancake recipe that doesn’t make rubbery pools of awfulness)
