>Things I have done whilst breastfeeding this week

>1. Answered the door (only to the midwife so far – last time I answered the door to the postman having forgotten to cover up the other side … he now leaves the post inside the back door)

2. Gone to the loo (when you have to go, you have to go)
3. Cooked dinner (Mr Muddling is not a culinary genius and there’s only so much pizza and omelette one woman can eat)
4. Enjoyed the speeches and dinner at my sister’s wedding
5. Caught up on the recorded TV – I think I have the starting of a bad Strictly and X Factor habit… and then there’s Merlin…

    >Well done! I loved multitasking while breastfeeding, too. And then sometimes it's just nice to sit and stare at baby.

    >I got quite proficient typing on the laptop while breastfeeding. I have to chuckle, I did actually perfect the practice of two handed typing even! And making phone calls…

    >Once you get the hang of breast feeding it is amazing what else you can manage at the same time.

    >It is great what you learn to do while breastfeeding. When I first started breastfeeding I found it so, so hard. I couldn't do it without a load of pillows to help, took ages to latch her on, hurt like hell and I was too scared to try feeding anywhere but at home for months! But once I got the hang of it, I could do serious multi-tasking. And fortunately with no.2, there wasn't the same steep learning curve – good job as no.1 expected things to carry on regardless of baby on the boob on the not!!

    >My son never wanted to feel left out when I was breastfeeding no.2. He'd snuggle up to me with a book, how could I resist. Never did get very good at turning the pages with 1 hand though

    >I found this really funny – thank you! And I hope that you don't mind, but I have sort of quoted you in my blog. Am quite new to this, so don't know if it is the done thing. Apologies if not and I will remove it.
